ABSA CAPE EPIC 2018 ROUTE REVEALED

The highly anticipated Absa Cape Epic route for 2018 has been revealed and USN, as one of the proud sponsors, could not be more excited. The Absa Cape Epic starts with a climb up the majestic slopes of Table Mountain and ends at the incredible Val de Vie Estate and covers a total distance of 658km including 13 530m of climbing.

USN is honoured to be one of the sponsors for this prestigious event and promises to provide endurance sustenance for all riders at water points along the route. The Absa Cape Epic is the largest full-service mountain bike stage race in the world where only 1300 riders battle it out.

The route has been described as “bold and untamed”. The Absa Cape Epic will begin on 18 March and conclude on 25 March 2018, after an intense eight days of tough and trying terrain. The route, which changes every year, includes a prologue ride up Table Mountain followed by seven intense and trying stages. Each stage must be completed in the specified amount of time for a rider to qualify as official race finishers.

We wish all athletes competing in the Absa Cape Epic the best of luck in this extremely challenging, yet rewarding race.
