Easy High Protein Granola

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 serving (32 g) whey protein (felt like making these Peppermint Crisp flavour from @usnsa)
  • 50 g rolled oats
  • 10 g All-Bran Flakes
  • 10 g puffed wheat (can substitute with puffed rice)
  • Granular sweetener of choice (I used 2 tbsp erythritol)
  • 1 tbsp sugar-free syrup (can sub with 1 tbsp honey)

*This recipe can easily be doubled/tripled

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Mix the ingredients together until thoroughly combined.
  3. Spread out on a baking sheet and bake at 180°C for 10 minutes.
  4. Take it out, toss it around, break it apart and into finer pieces.
  5. Bake for another 5 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Take out and leave to cool.
  7. The granola will harden and get more crunchy as it cools down. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into these beauties.
